Steve Lefamine, Bigot on the Move

(yes, Pic is tongue-in-cheek humor ONLY)

Occasionally, we have to shed a light on some out there that are anti-Catholic. No, we are not talking about those that have differences of opinions with Catholics, nor may aoppose Catholic views. We are talking about hardcore bigots, those that smear Catholics and distort and attack as out of fear and hatred.

They can range from Jack Chick, Bart Brewer and all those folks in the 60's that thought "Elect Kennedy, The Pope rules America"

In late 2004, one such person left the Constitution Party, finding his Natavist views not welcome with Catholics and Mormons arising in the Party to power. He is now running as an Independant:

Steve Lefemine for U.S. Congress US House District 2 from South Carolina.
Independent / Write-in!
Lefemine's 8-Point Campaign Platform:
1. Rulership of The Lord Jesus Christ - Confession of the Lord Jesus Christ (Messiah) as the Ruler of Nations, including America!
2. Rule Of Law - Acknowledgment of God’s Law as the moral foundation of our laws.
3. Defend Sanctity Of Human Life - Ban all abortion in America.
4. End War In Iraq - Oppose America’s undeclared, unconstitutional, illegal War in Iraq.
5. Secure America’s Borders - Support immediate temporary moratorium on immigration.
6. Defend Sanctity Of Marriage - Prevent sodomite so-called “marriage.”
7. Save America's Jobs and Manufacturing - Support immediate revocation of America's involvement in NAFTA, CAFTA, and WTO.
8. Restore America’s Sovereignty - Will co-sponsor HR 1146 - American Sovereignty Restoration Act

Sounds good, right? Well, by and large, yes. But we need to dig a little deeper into Lefamine's background.

Consider this article, about a abortionist working at a Catholic Hospital. Terrible? You bet, it needs to be handled ASAP by the Church. But note, after Lefamine says for the reader to contact the Church officials, note his language:

The bishops, pharisees, and scribes only come to pray outside the abortion clinic once a YEAR in October and that's over at the hospital--they don't address our concerns or needs and we are there 3 or 4 times a week. Our family van has been turned into a mobile pregnancy care center, due to the fact that Pac-Van (pregnancy care), (which is operated by the Catholic hospital, and sits behind the abortion mill) is never open--even though times are posted to the contrary.

In other words, Catholic leaders are on par with Chief Priests of the temple.

Lefamine is also involved with the Pilgrims Covenant Church, a strongly anti-Catholic organization. They are? You bet, consider this statement:

We love the souls of the Roman Catholic people; but we abhor popery, Romish rituals, and the Roman church's many ungodly, unbiblical doctrines. . . . While our position may seem fanatical and extreme in this apostate age, we are certainly in good company. Our "fanatical" position on the pope and his church was once the norm from one end of the Christian doctrinal spectrum to the other.

I first became aware of Steve Lefamine, after recieving his pro-life emails, you went on a rant, after talking on Kelly McGinley's readio program, that the Catholic Church used Easter to force on Christians pagan ideals, etc, etc-you have heard it no doubt at some point. He then stated taht the CP was polluted by non-Christian pagans such as Mormons and Catholics, reiterating the neither could be called Christians.

Steve, from what I have heard, was a Catholic-that is, until one day he picked a Bible and discovered, all by his lonesome, "real" faith in Christ. No doubt, he was never told about Christ before and apparently snoozed through the 3 Scripture passages in Mass, let along the many prayers, especially in the TLM, from the Psalms and other books in between!

Consider this peice by Steve, appearing in an article laced with anti-Catholic babble about Mary Cults, Pagan worship and priests being called 'Mr" instead of their true title:

More Than These: A Call for Reformation
By Mr. Ralph Ovadal, pastor
This book details how Roman Catholic influence and even doctrine has permeated the pro-life movement,
including street-level activist ministries, Christian radio, the pregnancy center networks, and the hearts of
major Christian ministries.
www.pccmonroe.org/Ecumenism/morethanthese.htm

OSA rightly preaches, and strongly, bravely, and publicly witnesses, against the evils
of child-murder-by-abortion, sodomy, and the false relgion of Islam. Pray that OSA
will one day have the courage and faithfulness to Christ to likewise preach against
the evil of the false religion of Roman Catholicism.

"For the word of the LORD is right: and all His works are done in [His] Truth."
Psalm 33:4

While it is true that there are probably born-again Christians who [sadly] make up the ranks of those
who are part of the blasphemous Roman Catholic religion, as at least one reformed minister has said,
they are saved in spite of the teachings of their religion.

"Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." John 3:3 (KJB)

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8,9 (KJB)

Saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in the Lord Jesus Christ (Messiah) alone !

formerly Roman Catholic, until Jesus Christ set me free !

Well, sorry Steve-had you actually known more about your faith, you would be free and possibly, even "saved". Now you are a prisoner to he that stated 'Non Servium". Catholic Faith permeating the Pro-life movement? Egads, since we are the ONLY Faith to initially resist Roe vs Wade, while the Protestants were largely mute and taking vote counts as to their stands on abortion and such, I am happy then for the title. BTW-we are the ONLY faith to stand against birth control, which at times as a abortificiant and a step in the link of abortion. No doubt, Steve probably use contraceptives, in clear violation of God's law:

http://www.scripturecatholic.com/contraception.html

Steve had this to say about the holiday of Christmas (Christ Mass):

http://www.ritualabusefree.org/Pagan%20Origin%20of%20Christmas.htm

Steve Lefemine: "I do not observe Christmas as I believe it is not a Christian holiday; neither in its origins nor in much of its worldly practice, although many Christians see it as a time to celebrate Jesus' birth. From what I understand, Jesus was most likely born around the time of the Feast of Tabernacles (Leviticus 23:34) which is celebrated according to the Jewish lunar (biblical) calendar around our modern-day months of September or October."
"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt [tabernacled] among us,..." (John 1:14)

Well, there we have it, we should mark the birth of the Savior around the lunar calender, forget the authoratative Church the Christ himself established, his bride.

A picture of radical Cal Zastro( he has labored hard to exclude Catholics and Mormons from the CP), fellow thumper Murch (he used to be the webmaster for Repent America, headed by another Catholic-turned-heretic Marcavage and recently "discovered" infant baptism. Big time anti-Catholic as well) and Lefamine:

Here is the article that Lefamine helped circulate to further blast Catholics on Easter:

http://www.ritualabusefree.org/Pagan%20Origin%20of%20Easter.htm

In reposting on his blog ant article about North American Union and CFR by Phyillis Schafley, Lefamine-for no real apparent reason, posts this at the end:

Note: Mrs. Phyllis Schlafly, author of the article above, "CFR's Plan To IntegrateThe US, Mexico & Canada," is Roman Catholic.

And Steve's point is?....

On his own blog, here is what he said, basically ending his association and welcome in the Constitution Party:

I come now to a difficult message: Because of compromise by some national and state-level leaders, including several founders of the Constitution Party, on the excellent 100% Pro-Life plank of the CP national platform; and the ecumenical nature of the Constitution Party, involving leadership by, and prayer with, those who follow false religions (e.g., Roman Catholicism [I was once Catholic], Mormonism), erroneously identifying these religions as Christian, as well as the unbiblical practice of women usurping authority over the man)1 Timothy 2:12), this is my last CP candidacy. I plan to separate from the CP after Dec. 31 (2 Cor. 6:14-18). (http://lefemineforlife.blogspot.com/2005/01/lefemine-for-life-for-congress-end-of.html)

Note, he opposes women involvement in the CP, much like many of the "bible believers" on the TAV forum. ALso, you ever notice how many people say "I was once Catholic" before laying into the false charges of anti-Catholics? When you, as I have, have read enough, you see they understand not a single blessed thing about the One and only True Faith. He then thanks Angela Whittman, a official with the AHP, for helping him with the site. She is now a starlet at TAV. Apparently, she "knows her place". Her blog: (http://angelawittman.blogspot.com/2005/02/real-meaning-of-christmas-season.html)?

Steve tells us that the Founders were all Christians, except for a few Deists and Catholics:
http://www.daveblackonline.com/no_king_but_king_jesus.htm.

So, though a professed Christian, by his own standards, Lefamine is a rather ignorant bigot. Maybe he knows not he is ignorant?

2 Peter 3
16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are certain things hard to be understood, which the unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, to their own destruction.

Doubtful thes folks were hanging around knowing they were unstable and ignorant. Like the Ethiopian, they needed a guide.

With Steve, we can heed the Bible clearly:

1 John 4
6 We are of God. He that knoweth God, heareth us. He that is not of God, heareth us not. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

-note, who is the "we" and the "us"? The united and One Holy Church that Christ established. Not the man made Protestant churches of individual subjectivism. Christ and the Father are one, so too the Church-in doctrine, beliefs and practices.

With Steve, it is best to save your $$$ and vote. Have nothing to do with this dead man walking. He has turned from the True Faith and is under judgement. Instead, pray for him, that God may have mercy on him and that, perhaps, Steve is either bewitched or truly decieved.

Therefore let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is inconstant in all his ways.
-James 1:7-8

Well did the Gospel writer speak of Steve too:

John 6
67 After this many of his disciples went back; and walked no more with him.

After covenanting to the CP, Angela says this:

http://angelawittman.blogspot.com/2005/04/why-i-am-christian-independent.html

I will not be shackled to any man-made organization (or political party)that joins together with unbelievers and pretends to worship the KING.

-hmmmm, who is she talking about?

Gee, ANgela, you and they apparently are capable of judging their righteousness all by yourselves. How nice and utterly man centered.

As for their "witness", do you mean their satanic vengence against Christs' body? or do you mean their WORKS?

I thought you all were not into works having any role at all??

Which is it Angie, works or righteousness??

BTW, I do not hate them- I pray for them and pity them.

I hate their actions, words and consequences of them.

As far as their pro-life work, et-great, glad to see Protestants finally on board. Guess the democratic vote went well in your bible study/church. Guess you all decided, on you own, that it is a worthy fight. Now you join us and many Mormons that since pre-Roe have been out in the trenches.

Unless, of course, tomorrow, the Bible will tell you something different. Like "brother" Watchman/Murch, who apparently is discovering new things daily and making those re-adjustments.
